Join us for lunch and this session focused on helping SMEs understand and manage cybersecurity risks, especially when working with government contracts where compliance is critical. You’ll also learn how to access free cybersecurity audits and support from West Texas A&M University.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Murray E. Jennex, brings decades of expertise in cybersecurity, knowledge management, and crisis response. He is the Gensler Professor of Computer Information Systems at West Texas A&M University, Professor Emeritus at San Diego State University, and President of the Foundation for Knowledge Management (LLC). Dr. Jennex also is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Project Management Professional (PMP), a former US Navy Nuclear Power Propulsion officer and commercial nuclear power plant engineer.
Dr. Jennex will share real-world insights from over 100 cybersecurity audits conducted on SMEs. He’ll break down the biggest threats facing small businesses today and offer practical strategies to protect your data, operations, and contracts. This event provides networking opportunities for small businesses to expand their sales of products and services to government agencies like WTAMU, Amarillo College, Pantex, Potter County, and many others.
