About the event

Eagle Colony Cemetery is also know as Old Colony Cemetery and/or Colony Hill Cemetery. It is located on Oldham Lane (aka FM 1750) approximately 3/4 mile south of Oldham Lane Church of Christ or approximately 1/2 mile south of the intersection of Hardison Ln and Oldham Ln. Cemetery is on the east side of the road.


Rich Lyles, Director of the NW Texas APEX Accelerator will make some brief remarks and wreath laying will occur immediately thereafter. Mr. Lyles will be joined by Mr. Kenny Heaton from the SBDC for the wreath laying ceremony, to honor the veterans buried there, including those without markers, headstones, or known names. This solemn event is a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and remembrance, recognizing the service and sacrifice of all veterans. As part of our ongoing commitment to support veteran-owned businesses and give back to the community, the ceremony serves as a reminder that no veteran should ever be forgotten.
