About the event
Women-Owned Small Business (WOSBs) self-certification is now a thing of the past. Effective October 15, 2020, all WOSBs must go through the SBA’s free certification process at wosb.certify.sba.gov or get certified by an approved Third-Party Certifier (TPC). This change is the result of the updated WOSB Federal Contracting Program regulations, meant to reduce fraud, improve applicants’ registration experience, and enhance the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) certification oversight.
However, these changes have not been entirely painless. Many WOSB certification applicants have needed help navigating the new process. This webinar will address the most common challenges and provide a step-by-step guide to completing the WOSB certification. Specifically, we will review the requirements for program eligibility, the certification process, and maintaining your WOSB certification. We will also discuss the benefits of the WOSB Federal Contracting program.
