Jack Shelton is a co-founder of Aegis Space Law, a law firm serving businesses in the U.S. space and defense industries. Mr. Shelton’s practice focuses largely on building and running lean export compliance programs for his clients.

Jack received his J.D. from the University of Tennessee (cum laude) and his LL.M. in Admiralty Law from Tulane University (cum laude). He began his legal practice working in Germany, representing an ocean carrier, after which he moved to New Orleans to represent international businesses in the Gulf of Mexico. He has since lived and worked in Tennessee, D.C., and elsewhere.
