In this webinar, Govology Faculty Instructor and Procurement Professional Dr. Shana Nicholson explains a step-by-step process for identifying, vetting, and bidding on local and state-level contracting opportunities. This webinar will address the most common challenges, review the requirements for registration and eligibility, and go over the bidding process for your local and state government procurement opportunities.

Dr. Shana Nicholson is an APTAC Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) with over 20 years of experience supporting funding acquisition for public safety, human services, and community organizations. Dr. Nicholson is a published author and national speaker in the public safety field, as well as college faculty for several universities. She has served as the Northern Region PTAC Counselor in West Virginia for over five years. Dr. Nicholson support small business growth and development in the government market space through outreach and education. She is also the owner and President of her own Woman Owned Small Business, Rescue Me, LLC, providing consulting services, proposal management, and technical writing.
